- The Royal Rumble match is booked each year by Pat Patterson and has been since it began in 1988 because he's the inventor of that match. 

- Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty were due to get 'married' on Valentine's Day 1999 at the St Valentine's Day Massacre PPV. Scotty and Grandmaster were both strongly opposed to the storyline, but it wasn't until Grandmaster's dad Jerry Lawler intervened and complained to Vince McMahon that the idea was dropped. 

- Lance Storm, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit and Steve Blackman were all trained at Stu Hart's Dungeon in Calgary, Canada. 

- The WWE purchased WCW from AOL Time Warner for $2.5 million in March 2001. That price is very low considering the top WWE stars such as The Rock earn around four times that amount each year. 

- Shane McMahon was a referee in the late 80s/early 90s and was called Shane Stevens.
